Yesterday myself and D headed on over to the Downtown Farmer’s Market . We generally don’t go, but we try to at least once a year to have some yummy food from the various food venders.
First off we had to have some Sudanese food (the main reason why we even went) It was delicious to say the least…
Second up I had a Cuban sandwich from La Cubana. Sadly I scarfed my sandwich before I even thought to take a photo…Lets just say it was soooo yummy, and one of the only that I have had in over 20 some years that was on par with the ones the neighbors would make me while growing up (they were from Cuba)
After we walked the market and melted some more we were ready for our last item, this time it was Haitian food.
Again super delicious! We are not huge meat eaters (esp chicken or pork) but this whole plate was amazing.
So this years market visit left us with full & happy tummies and a wooden spoon acquisition.
If you are in the SLC area and want something good to eat it is worth the trip.
