Tolmie State Park

This past weekend we had beautiful weather…so we headed out to Tolmie state park.

This is a local little spot for us, but a nice place to just get out and reenergize.

It was a great little cove.

We got there at low tide so there were people clam digging, but the best part was everything covered in sea greens.

We were there just a short time before I had to get in the water!

Being low tide the oyster beds were visible…and amazing.

After our time on the beach we headed over to explore the trails in the area.

There were all kind of critters in the underbrush and birds in the trees…I was able to identify the salmonberries…might have to go back when they have matured.

We also had out first PNW mushroom spotting, so that was exciting.

Overall a beautiful place on a beautiful day…However I want to go back on a gloomy misty day…because thats just me.

We will def be back!
